Dr. Adeb Qaid is an Assistant Professor at the college of Architecture Engineering and Design, Kingdom University, Bahrain. He was a coordinator of the research unit from 2019 – 2021 at the same university. His Ph.D. degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and his Master’s degree in Urban Design and Conservation, from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. His Bachelor’s degree is in Architecture Engineering and Built Environment.
He got a postdoctoral fellowship from UTM, worked on different research projects related to urban climate, urban heat island, and outdoor thermal comfort within the city. He is a Research Advisor at Nan Yang Academic for Science (Singapore). Dr. Adeb has several published research in high impactful journals in Scopus and the web of science. He was a chair and a chair session of deferent international conferences. He was an editor of a special issue in Jurnal Teknologi indexed in Scopus. He is a peer-review for several international journals and conferences. Recently he is a Guest Associate Editor in the Sustainable Infrastructure section, journal of Frontiers in Sustainable Cities. His research area of interest is urban environmental studies, resilient and sustainable design.
